I suggest to reduce the chance of fault on rockets the head of the department look over the rockets before they are given the go ahead to be launched for the mission, you don't want to have a big launch and it's all ruined because an engineer made a mistake.

Making big explosions is part of KSP. We may be a University, but ka-boom is part of Kerbal culture. Sorry, but overruled.
