[Mission] Project ORION
//Duna Probe Landing, Mission Project ORION
Place a probe with temprature, pressure, and accelerometer sensors on the surface of Duna. Record max G-forces during re-entry and pressures at ~10km and on the ground.
1. During re-entry (above 15km), record max g-forces.
2. At 10km altitude, record atmospheric pressure and begin recording accelerometer data.
3. Upon landing, record pressure and temperature.

Re: [Mission] Project ORION
I have a rocket I used to take rovers to Duna so I can modify it a bit and do this for you, or atleast hand it off to a kerbonaut.

Re: [Mission] Project ORION
I add you as engineer. For the kerbonaut, I am waiting for another kerbonaut. If there is nobody, I give you the mission.

Re: [Mission] Project ORION
The rocket and probe are done and I have 100% guarantee it can reach Duna and land safely all with a bit of extra fuel left in the tank(not that you will have it with you while reentering) . So how would I get it to a kerbonaut ?
P.S I did use MechJeb but that is the only mod, it can be removed but I don't recommend it.

This is a picture of it on Duna I would of done the measurements but I'm not too good at piloting Jeb does all of that for me.
